This paper is the sequel to part I [ibid. 46, 1-31 (1982; Zbl 0483.58008)] (corrections to some proofs of this previous paper are given). The author considers repeller-attractor (R-A) pairs for continuous families of flows and semi-flows. Methods of algebraic topology (too complicated in description to be explained here) are applied to obtain sufficient conditions for the existence of heteroclinic orbits from repellers to attractors. Morse decompositions which generalize R-A pairs are also investigated.
