A study is made of the influence of heat transfer on the dynamical characteristics of gas escaping from the cavity of an underground explosion. Numerical calculations are made for the plane and spherically symmetric cases. The dynamical characteristics (density, temperature, flow velocity) are compared for isothermal, isentropic, and adiabatic flow and flow with heat transfer.
