The book under review is devoted to the problem of symmetry, duality, and renormalization of classical, discrete spin models used extensively in mathematics and theoretical physics. The author discusses in detail the symmetry groups of spin models and the group-theoretical properties of these groups, in particular, their subgroups, products of permissible groups and their construction with the help of graphs, and also primitive and imprimitive permissible groups and regular groups. The problem of duality, namely, the relation between duality transformations and dual models, and also the problem of renormalization of pseudo-lattices are presented in the book.
