It is proved that (i) the isotopic subgroups of probabilities on algebraic homogeneous spaces are algebraic and that (ii) the support of ergodic, quasi invariant measures of automorphisms of noncompact Lie groups is always a proper subset. It is also shown that under certain conditions on the Lie group the induced homeomorphism of the support is topologically equivalent to a translation of a compact group.
