The problem of non-resonant harmonic oscillations of an elastic cylinder on an elastic layer is considered. The contact between the cylinder and the layer is over a circular region \(\Omega_ 1\) of radius \(R_ 1\) without friction. The layer rests on a rigid base. At the layer-base interface there are two types of contact.
