This paper investigates the rheological behaviour effects of non- Newtonian fluids on the evolution in time of the shape of a moving interface separating two immiscible and incompressible fluids during the gravitational segregation process in a porous medium. A rheological model of Bingham type was used to illustrate these effects. An approximate analytical solution has been developed for determining the shape of the moving interface.
