The authors have defined a hypergeometric series which consists of `mixed' terms of both the factorial type of the q-analogue of the factorial i.e. terms of the type \((1-q^ a)(1-q^{a+1})-(1-q^{a+n- 1})\equiv [q^ a]_ n\). In addition the base of these q-analogues may also be different. [Reviewer's remark: It is not very clear whether such functions have any physical or even analytical use.]
