The performance of methods for dealing Dirichlet corners is evaluated. Two new methods are presented: The method of element replacement and the method of determining derivatives. The accuracy of the solution has been improved at little extra cost in program run-time. The method of element replacement has emerged as the most generally accurate method available for dealing with Dirichlet corners.
