There are a lot of results for the problem, originated by H. Beckert, to approximate tuples of functions, given on the boundary \(\Gamma\) of a domain G (which lies completely in a larger smooth domain \(\Omega\)), by solutions of an elliptic boundary value problem of order 2m on \(\Omega\), considered on \(\Gamma\). The author can successfully weaken the conditions for \(\Gamma\) to obtain approximation results in uniform norms.
