We construct Hermitian metrics of anti-self-dual Weyl curvature on blow- ups of primary Hopf surfaces. Thus there exist compact anti-self-dual Hermitian complex surfaces which are not relative minimal. This answers a question raised by \textit{C. Boyer} [Math. Ann. 274, 517-526 (1986; Zbl 0571.32017)].
