The author studies rational elliptic surfaces with one non-singular m-ple multiple fibre. They are obtained by blowing up 9 points on a projective plane. It is proved that these 9 points lie on a smooth cubic curve, that their sum (with respect to the group structure of 1-dimensional complex torus) is of order m, and vice versa. These facts may be already known to specialists.
