In a previous paper [Ann. Inst. H. Poincaré 44, No.2, 195-210 (1986; Zbl 0607.35070)], the authors gave conditions under which the scattering matrix of some perturbation of a selfadjoint operator differs from the identity by some matrix in the Schatten class \(S_ p\). Here they give similar results in the abstract setting of quasi-normed ideals.
