A new class of variational inequalities is introduced. The author asserts that this class is the most general and unifying one. A fixed point algorithm is developed, which includes several previously known algorithms as special cases. The convergence of the algorithm is studied. A third order two-point boundary value problem is considered as application. An implementable form of the algorithm is to be developed in further research.
