A counting sequence of a class of partitions leads to numbers called Bessel numbers, their generating function has a simple continued fraction expansion related to Bessel functions. The authors have obtained the asymptotics of Bessel numbers and their relation to Bell numbers. The estimation required to find the asymptotic form of coefficients in an asymptotic but divergent expansion.
