Continuous-discrete control systems are investigated in order to control a finite position. The system is governed by mutually coupling systems of continuous and discrete equations. The analysis of stability is based on the second Lyapunov method extended earlier to continuous-discrete systems. Asymptotic analysis is carried out for the case when the system functioning interval tends to infinite. Criteria on stable and unstable behaviour of the system in the main and critical cases are obtained.
