On the existence and the uniqueness of fixed points of Sehgal contractions (Q812565)

The author establishes fixed point theorems for Sehgal contractions [\textit{V. M. Sehgal} and \textit{A. T. Bharucha-Reid}, Math. Syst. Theory 6, 97--102 (1972; Zbl 0244.60004)] in the context of fuzzy Menger spaces and quasi-pseudo fuzzy Menger spaces. Similar results can be found in the papers of \textit{M. Grabiec} [ibid. 27, No. 3, 385--389 (1988; Zbl 0664.54032)] and \textit{T. Zikic} [ibid. 144, No. 3, 421--429 (2004; Zbl 1052.54006)] and in the book [\textit{O. Hadzic} and \textit{E. Pap}, Fixed point theory in probabilistic metric spaces, Dordrecht: Kluwer Academic Publishers (2002; Zbl 0994.47077)].
