Here, the phenomenon involved in the tropical Pacific ocean-atmosphere interactions named El Nino/La Nino-Southern oscillation (ENSO) is studied. The initial positive sea surface temperature (SST) anomaly in the equatorial eastern Pacific is analyzed. The sea-air oscillation of the ENSO model is considered as a system of four nonlinear differential equations, two of them being singularly perturbed with different small parameters. The solution is found in the form of power series. The corresponding degenerate system is linear, so it is solved explicitly. A procedure of calculation asymptotic expansions of the solutions is derived.
