The paper under review is an extended version of the talk given by the author at the Lisboa EMS-SMP meeting in September 2003. She presents in detail some results due to Biran, Cieliebak and Seidel on the topology of Lagrangian submanifolds and discusses a lot of examples and counterexamples. In conclusion a very nice paper.
