A certain family of mixed summation-integral type operators (Q815314)

The authors considered a general family of summation-integral type operators: the integral modification of Szasz operators with the weight functions of Beta operators. For these operators the rate of point wise convergence in terms of first order modulus of smoothness is established. A Voronovskaja type theorem is also established, using the classical technique (Taylor expansion). In the last part, results regarding the rate of convergence in the local approximation (direct results) are proved
