The ensembles of systems in quantum mechanics which are both pre- and post-selected are studied. The formulae for the probabilities of outcomes of a measurement performed on such an ensemble at a time intermediate between pre-selection and post-selection were previously derived using radical two-vector formulation of quantum mechanics. The author justifies these formulae by rigorous derivation using Bayes theorem together with standard quantum mechanics.
