The heat conduction problem of \textit{A. D. Myshkis} [J. Difference Equ.s Appl. 3, No. 1, 89--91 (1997; Zbl 0909.35053)] is considered in a finite region for the one dimensional case. It is shown that the normalized heating times sequence \(\{\tau_n\}\) is increasing.
