Let \(X\) be a complex Grassmannian, \(H\) be the ample generator of the Picard group of \(G\), and \(D\) be a effective divisor on \(X\) such that \(D\sim nH\). The main result of the paper under review is the following: the log pair \((X, \frac{1}{n}D)\) has log canonical singularities.
