This paper continues the study of iterative Möbius function systems by the author in [Topological and symbolic dynamics. Cours Spécialisés (Paris) 11. Paris: Société Mathématique de France (2003; Zbl 1038.37011)] and [Nonlinearity 22, No.~2, 437--456 (2009; Zbl 1161.37015)], with particular emphasis on topological properties. Necessary and sufficient conditions are found for a system defined by two hyperbolic Möbius transformations to have a trivial attractor, and sufficient conditions for minimality are given.
