The aim of this paper is the study of finitely generated soluble groups with certain geometric properties. In particular, it is shown that any finitely presented soluble coherent group \(G\) is weakly geometrically simply connected, i.e., there exists a polyhedron \(P\) whose fundamental group is isomorphic to \(G\) and the universal covering of \(P\) is covered by compact and simply connected subpolyhedra.
