A linearized system describing joint motions of an elastic porous solid and a fluid filling the holes is studied. Rigorous homogenization procedures are derived when the size of the holes tends to zero in the medium, supposed to be periodic. For different choices of ratios between physical parameters, various limit systems are obtained, using a two-scale convergence method introduced by Nguetseng for the homogenization of periodic structures.
