The authors prove results for the embedding (or non-embedding) of lens spaces in Euclidean spaces. A table is provided for such embeddings. Their method partly adapts for lens spaces the ideas of Gitler, Mahowald, and Milgram. Their main theorem uses the ku- and BP-theoretic versions of Astey's cobordism obstruction for the existence of smooth Euclidean embeddings of stably almost complex manifolds.
