The paper deals with a class of semilinear parabolic differential equations on an infinite time interval and satisfying general initial conditions and homogeneous Dirichlet boundary condition. The author is able to show that solutions exist for all times and that they are \(L^p\) in time and space. The main tool is the degree theory for Fredholm operators.
