The authors introduce a notion of \textit{multilinear localization operators} for some multilinear Kohn--Nirenberg pseudodifferential operators. Using methods of time frequency analysis, the main results of the paper present necessary and sufficient conditions for the boundedness of such operators on products of modulation spaces (which quantify the time-frequency content of a function or distribution). At the end, specific examples of symbols are exhibited for the corresponding bounded multilinear pseudodifferential operators.
