The authors establish new stability criteria in terms of two measures for difference equations via vector Lyapunov functions and a new comparison theorem by employing the concept of the upper quasi-monotone increasing of the function, which connect the solutions of two finite difference equations and a scalar one. An example is given to illustrate the results obtained.
