Remarks on symplectic connections (Q861527)

In the present survey (see \textit{P. Bieliavsky} et al. [Int. J. Geom. Methods Mod. Phys., 3, No. 3, 375--420 (2006; Zbl 1095.53052)]), a symplectic structure on the space of symplectic connections and a moment map for the action of the group of symplectomorphisms on this space are defined. After an algebraic study of the symplectic curvature tensor, two types of symplectic connections (Ricci-type and Ricci-flat) are defined. Marsden-Weinstein reduction procedure is global for a class of quadratic polynomials, giving rise to all Ricci-type symmetric symplectic spaces. The author shows here an example of global reduction giving a non-symmetric connection and also an algebraic construction of Ricci-flat symmetric symplectic spaces.
