Consider the vector differential equation \[ x^{(7)}+ Ax^{(6)}+ Bx^{(5)}+ Cx^{(4)}+ Dx^{(3)}+ F(\dot x)\ddot x+ G(x)\dot x+ h(x)= 0. \] The authors derive sufficient conditions for the equilibrium \(x= 0\) to be unstable.
