The author considers the boundary value problem \[ (|f''(\eta)|^{N-1} f''(\eta))'+ f(\eta) f''(\eta)= 0 \] subject to boundary conditions \(f(0)= -C\), \(f'(0)=\xi\) and \(f'(+\infty)= 1\). He shows that there exists a constant \(r> 0\) such that if \(0<|\xi|< r\), then the boundary value problem has at least two solutions.
