This paper deals with the identification problem for current dipoles in a spherically symmetric conductor. In order to be able to model the human brain activity, the authors propose an identification technique of the radial components of current dipole moments as well as tangential components by using the observations of both magnetic induction and electric potential, and develop a direct solver of practical inverse source problems without using a priori information about source current dipoles that are consequentially since the number of parameters is essentially unknown in many practical cases.
