Applying the theory of coincidence degree, the authors obtain sufficient conditions for the existence of a positive periodic solution of a class of neutral impulsive delay predator-prey system. The obtained results generalize that in [\textit{Y. K. Li}, ``Positive periodic solution of a neutral predator-prey system'', Appl. Math. Mech. 20, No. 5, 545--550 (1999)].
