Summary: We introduce some new classes of preinvex and invex functions, which are called \(\varphi\)-invex and \(\varphi\)-invex functions. We study some properties of these classes of \(\varphi\)-preinvex (\(\varphi\)-invex) functions. In particular, we establish the equivalence among the \(\varphi\)-preinvex functions, \(\varphi\)-invex functions, and \(\varphi \eta\)-monotonicity of their differential under some suitable conditions.
