A completely regular semigroup \(S\) is called a cryptogroup if the Green relation \(\mathcal H\) is a congruence. \(S\) is normal (regular) if \(S/\mathcal H\) is a normal (regular) band. Here is presented a representation of cryptogroups based on a band and a family of homomorphisms between completely simple semigroups; this construction generalizes the earlier constructions of normal (regular) cryptogroups.
