The author extends some wonderful results from [\textit{S. Bogdanović}, Semigroups with a system of subsemigroups. Novi Sad: Univ. Novi Sad, Inst. Math. (1985; Zbl 0569.20049)]. In Section 2, the author characterizes a po-semigroup in which every proper left ideal is \(l\)-archimedean (resp. \(t\)-archimedean). In Section 3, the author considers the structures of left ideals of an \(l\)-archimedean (resp. \(t\)-archimedean) intra-\(\pi\)-regular po-semigroup, and characterizes a po-semigroup in which every proper left ideal is a nil-extension of a left simple (resp. \(t\)-simple) po-semigroup. As an application of these results, the properties and the structures of left ideals of a \(t\)-archimedean intra-\(\pi\)-regular semigroup (without order) are obtained and characterizations of a semigroup which is not left simple and every proper left ideal of which is a \(\pi\)-group are given.
