The authors draw some simple consequences from the contraction mapping theorem for set-valued contractions [cf., e.g., \textit{H. Covitz} and \textit{S. B. Nadler}, Isr. J. Math. 8, 5--11 (1970; Zbl 0192.59802)] and give an application to an integral inclusion.
