The authors propose two prediction-correction methods for solving general variational inequalities. The two methods are explored throughout their applications. Under certain conditions, the global convergence for both the methods is proved. Efficiency of these two methods is illustrated by example. The paper is a noteworthy illustration of the inspiration and motivation of the topic of research.
