From the abstract: The authors construct a priori bounds expressing stability in the right hand side for two-layer difference schemes for the heat equation with nonlocal boundary conditions. The constraints on grid size guaranteeing stability in the right-hand side are identical with the previously established criteria for stability in initial values.
