The authors introduce a new class of explicit methods for the numerical solution of ordinary and time-dependent partial differential equations. These methods are based on Padé approximation techniques. The authors investigate the stability and convergence properties of their methods and conclude that they are highly suitable even in the case of very stiff equations.
