The local as well as global definition of the tunnel operator and derivatives of the statistical potential are presented. In the frame of classical thermodynamics one refers to some analogy between thermodynamics and classical mechanics, to Lagrange manifolds, Legendre transforms and Planck function. The possible application of tunnel operator to Thermodynamics is discussed too.
