The authors prove some convergence rate estimates for multigrid algorithms for elliptic problems using regularity and approximation assumptions. These estimates depend on a parameter introduced in the assumptions and on the number of relaxation steps. The paper is concluded by two numerical tests for the Poisson equation on the unit square and by a list of 9 references.
