This paper studies the existence, the uniqueness, and the asymptotic behaviour of strong solutions of a 3D MHD system. Asymptotic behaviour is examined when the Rossby number tends to zero. The proofs involve the use of a method due to Friedrichs and others, and they depend on product laws in Sobolev spaces of sufficiently large exponents.
