The author considers a class of linear differential equations with impulsive effect at a given set of times. It is shown that under general assumptions on the existence of forward solutions, a splitting can be given in terms of an \((h,k)\) forward dichotomy, which generalizes the hyperbolicity notion for dynamical systems.
