The paper considers an almost periodic epidemic model with age structure in a patchy environment. Some existence results for an almost periodic disease-free solution, and the definition of the basic reproduction ratio \(R_0\) are given. It is proved that a disease dies out if the basic reproduction number \(R_0\) is less than unity and persists in the population if it is greater than unity.
