The paper is devoted to a study of nonlinear Fredholm integral equations of the second kind with a convolution kernel that satisfies some monotonicity conditions. The nonlinearity may appear with respect to either the unknown function outside the integral or the unknown inside the integral or with respect to the entire integral. In all cases, some Carathéodory conditions are assumed to hold for the nonlinearity. In this setting, sufficient conditions are derived for the existence of a solution and for the uniqueness of the solution. Bounds for the norms of solutions are deduced as well.
