It is well known that Sturm-Liouville problems which contains an eigenparameter in boundary conditions arise in problems on oscillations of a homogenous loaded string, on rotational oscillations of a rod with pulley endpoints and on a current in a cable with both endpoints grounded through a lumbed capacity. The authors obtain the structure of root subspaces and the oscillation properties of eigenfunctions for such type of problems giving a general characteristics of the arrangement of eigenvalues on the real axis.
