The purpose of this paper is to study the stationary linearized Boltzmann equation by integration of a related PDE for the molecular velocity. The main theorem characterizes the secondary singularity by an asymptotic formula. The proof uses modified Bessel functions, integration by parts, Euler's constant, Hölder's inequality, and Taylor's formula. The authors conclude by considering the contributions from minor terms.
