The paper is devoted to the study of iterative methods for numerically solving nonlinear equations defined on the real line. The authors present two new iterative methods with memory and they study some of their numerical properties (R-order of convergence, efficiency index). They use self-accelerator parameters in order to construct the new methods. The paper also includes some numerical tests to illustrate the applicability of the new methods.
